Safety/Training

Safety is top priority at Haynes Electric. The emphasis on safety and training begins with the owners and is embraced by our supervisors and entire workforce. In addition to the in-house training programs provided by our safety director, Haynes Electric supports and participates in industry training through the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

On-site safety for electrical workers, as well as public safety, is at the heart of the electrical construction done by NECA and IBEW contractors. We follow tried-and-true electrical safety practices that protect users, occupants and workers. These practices are a part of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NECA’s own National Electrical Installation Standards (NEIS). In addition, IBEW provides safety training as part of apprenticeship curriculum and continuing education.
